Grooming Services
Total Comfort strongly believes in absolute comfort during the grooming process; therefore, we will only demat a pet if it does not hurt the pet in anyway. Small tangles and spot matting will not hurt the pet when properly done; however, it is not safe or comfortable for a pet to be extensivly dematted. Total Comfort is not liable for any conditions uncovered by the groomer due to the matting and we will recommend a veterinarian consultation at the owners expense if any conditions are found. Total Comfort does not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medi-cations.
Total Comfort reserves the right to refuse service to overly aggressive pets, severely matted pets, or pets with health issues that require a visit to the veterinarian. Senior pets require extra TLC and care; you can rest assured that your senior pet will receive extra gentle handling and have a total comfort experience while being groomed. Total Comfort is, quite simply, a groomer with your pet's total comfort in mind.
We provide the following services for your pet:
- Massaging bath with high quality professional shampoos and conditioners specialized for your pets' coat
- Fluff dry and brush out
- De-shedding, if needed
- Nails trimmed & grinded
- Ears cleaned and plucked, if needed
- Paw pads clipped
- Bows or a bandana
- Haircut of your choice, including classic breed styling, poodle clips, and beautiful hand scissoring, and cat grooming , including the adorable lion clip.
Bath-only dogs are always welcome.
I will also make house calls for just nail trimming & ear cleaning.
I also trim guinea pigs nails!
The Total Comfort mobile salon is a "green" salon - no propane tanks, no generator, no noise, no fumes, no smell. The trailer runs on a dual inverter charger.
Health
Please disclose all health issues your pet may have, as well as any medications your pet may be taking and any allergies your pet may have.
Vaccination Requirements
All pets being groomed must be current on rabies vaccinations. Proof of current vaccinations via veterinary paperwork will be required prior to grooming. Tags do not count. This policy is to ensure the health and safety of both the animal and groomer.
Pricing
Pricing for each pet is determined by the actual time spent to groom the pet. Factors determining price include: size of pet, coat type, and condition of coat. We will go over a few questions about your pet when you call and then an estimate will be given.
Payment
Payment is due at time of service. Cash only for first time clients. Subsequent visits may be paid by cash or check. Returned checks will be subject to a $35.00 fee in addition to the grooming fee. Fees may apply if appointments are not cancelled within at least a 24 hour period.
